Hallway
The Loft Hatch - within this property was small without a ladder attached, therefore making it very difficult to gain access. In addition the hatch was positioned in a place which meant an attached ladder wasn't possible. The decision was made to move the hatch and replace it with a large hatch with fold away ladder.

The bannister and spindles - on the staircase were in a poor state. It was missing spindles and wasn't securely in place. So we replaced them entirely and chose a mahogany wooden handrail.

Decoration - To finish the hallway the wall leading to the kitchen was decorated with a beautiful Farrow & Ball printed wallpaper. Farrow & Ball paint was used to decorate the walls, ceiling and woodwork. Finally new carpet was laid to replace the old dark green carpet which had made the hallway really dark.
